HEPATOLOGY

• Diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases such as Hepatitis B, C and E, autoimmune liver diseases, hemochromatosis and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
• Non-invasive measurement of tissue stiffness in the liver through elastography with shear wave elasticity imaging technology (ultrasound). Early detection of fatty liver fibrosis, cirrhosis and hepatic cell carcinoma.
• Contrast enhanced ultrasound of the abdomen, particularly the liver, in order to evaluate ambiguous structures (differentiation of benign and malignant tumours etc.)
• Treatment of hemochromatosis

Enzymatic screening and diagnosis of lysosomal storage diseases (Gaucher and Fabry diseases)
